Dopapod is excited to announce a two night New Years Run at The Madison Theater in Covington, KY on December 30 and 31. Aqueous and Consider the Source will be supporting the Friday and Saturday nights, respectively. The 2016-17 run marks the first time that Dopapod will be ringing in the new year outside of the Northeast. Covington, being just over the river from Cincinnati, is centrally located to Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
In the last 2 months, the quartet made festival appearances at both Werk Out & Resonance Music Festivals. The latter included a very special tribute to Pink Floyd. Keyboardist/vocalist Eli Winderman elaborates, “The Ohio, Indy, Kentucky area has long held a special place in our hearts. The last three years in Worcester, MA have all ben purely magical. We wanted to switch things up this year to keep the celebratory spirit fresh. We figure to help preserve that, let’s spread that magic and love to another region that has also always embraced and made us feel at home.”

Friends, Family, and Fans,
As we step out of another incredible summer and look towards what is sure to be an exhilarating Fall Tour, there is news that we’d like to share. Neal “Fro” Evans is returning to Dopapod behind the drums. For those unaware or needing a refresher, Fro was our drummer for the years that the band was really shaping its sound and stepping into full stride. We came to a bit of a crossroads with Neal back in 2013 and he needed time away from the band for personal reasons while we wanted to continue playing and growing as a band. Having already been good friends with Scotty Zwang, when the time came to look for a replacement, he made for an incredible fit. Since that point in time, the band has experienced an incredible ride of musical, personal, and career-building growth. As we count our blessings for every moment that we’ve experienced while surrounded by a wonderfully supportive family of fans, we’ve also found ourselves recounting the original chemistry that undeniably forged the path that we’re grateful to be walking. That has landed us in the present moment of welcoming Neal back to the fold and him being more than happy rejoin. Scotty will surely be staying on the map with other exciting projects and will always be a part of our family. We wish him the best and encourage everyone to support his new endeavors. In our time playing together, Scotty has truly become one of our best friends and we cherish the time he spent in the band with us. Neal’s first shows back will be Resonance Music & Arts Festival & Catskill Chill Music Festival. See you all soon!

We didn’t want to waste any time getting back to NYC after this past weekend’s show in Brooklyn. Grab your tickets –> http://livemu.sc/1Ie55bX
Attention NYC! A great band we love has politely asked us if they could take our Irving Plaza date on Nov. 20 and we’ve agreed. We are moving it to brand spankin’ new (and awesome!) venue The Hall at MP in red-hot Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you have tickets already, hold on tight. We will have your names on a will call list at the venue night of show. Just say you are on the Irving Plaza list. If you don’t have a ticket to the moon or – getting to the point – tickets to the show, buy them now before they sell out! Long story short – we’re looking forward to bringing the show to Brooklyn. Rock ‘n’ roll is king!
